2018 Cyclone Taylor Cup Schedule


The schedule for the 2018 Cyclone Taylor Cup has been announced.  The Junior B championship takes place April 12 – 15, 2018 in Richmond, BC and features the three (3) Junior B league champions and the host team, the Richmond Sockeyes.

2018 Cyclone Taylor Cup Schedule

On opening day, Thursday, April 12, 2018, the leagues’ champions from the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) and Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) will face off before the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League (VIJHL) champions take on the Sockeyes.

The bronze medal game will take place on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at 10:00am with the gold medal match to follow at 1:00pm.

In the PJHL, the Ridge Meadow Flames and Delta Ice Hawks are currently battling in the best-of-seven (7) series for the league championship.  The Flames took game one (1) in double overtime 2-1.

The Kimberley Dynamiters and Nelson Leafs are playing for the Kootenay Conference final and the Osoyoos Coyotes and Revelstoke Grizzlies are fighting for the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference final.  The winner of each conference will play for the KIJHL championship.

In the VIJHL, the Campbell River Storm has home-ice advantage as they take on the Saanich Braves.  Series gets underway on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Rod Brind’Amour Arena in Campbell River, BC.

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks captured the 2017 Cyclone Taylor Cup with a 6-2 win over the Campbell River Storm.
